Huawei SnapTo review

The Huawei SnapTo is a budget LTE smartphone with very few redeeming features. It's cheap, it has Android and LTE and you don't ever need a contract. Regrettably, that's about it.

The unlocked Huawei SnapTo has a 5-inch, 720p HD display, a budget price and has LTE connectivity. It's got great battery life for a budget phone, and is simple to use.

The device looks rather plain, with performance that lags behind similarly priced devices. And its marquee feature -- the 5-megapixel camera -- takes mediocre photos.

Despite its strong battery life, Huawei's entry-level Android-powered SnapTo fails to live up to rival phones that cost the same or less.

Huawei SnapTo (Unlocked)

The Huawei SnapTo is a terrific value for an unlocked LTE smartphone, but its performance is strictly entry-level.

Great price for an LTE phone. Good call quality. Solid build.

Average performance. Heavily skinned, older version of Android.

Comparisons and Conclusions I'm aware that a lot of this review is a little negative. But the SnapTo's value can't be seen independent of its price, and $179 for a solid, reliable LTE phone is a very good price indeed. LTE is critical on a smartphone...

Review: Huawei SnapTo

Huawei's SnapTo is a mild-mannered Android smartphone for budget-conscious buyers. This unlocked handset can be used with many prepaid services and offers a few unique features worth discussion. Here is Phone Scoop's full report.

Good Smartphone for the Price

I bought this for my younger sister who is very clumsy and doesn't have much care for her belongings. I have only heard of the brand, but have never thought about purchasing it. She seems to love the phone though; the only thing I don't like about it...

A decent phone for day to day use in INDIA.

Easy to use. Unlocked and works with GSM networks in India. Touchscreen is reasonably responsive. On occasions, you can use it to read your emails. Convenient for texting. Good for casual listening to stored music.

Excellent phone

I love this phone, speed, specs and features. For the same price, you cannot get it from somewhere else. Excellent phone. Love it.
