Samsung Galaxy Ring review

If you're looking for a budget prepaid Android smartphone, you can do better than Virgin Mobile's Samsung Galaxy Ring. Although the phone's entry-level specs sound fine on paper -- a 4-inch touch screen, dual-core processor, and 5-megapixel camera --...

The Samsung Galaxy Ring has good call quality and a dedicated camera button, and costs an affordable $150 off-contract.

It has poor screen quality, lacks 4G, takes dull photos, and has a very slow processor.

Pass on the slow, disappointing Samsung Galaxy Ring in favor of LG's superior Optimus F3.

this a great phone for under 200 dollars I recommend it

this phone is kind of like a smaller version of the galaxy s3 it is a great phone if you download the right apps or but if you have Wi-Fi it works like a computer in your hands it also does well if you are in a good 3g area

has 2 cameras has loud speakers updated Bluetooth runs smoothly sometimes you can write or text without physically touching the screen

should have a bigger screen(4.5) do does not support adobe flash player

great camera for my teen

He navigates it easy and it's not too big. Only problem I have noticed is there is no way to block a call. He gets calls from a company who we don't know for an employee. It's annoying!

Decent phone, but one caveat

If you are replacing your current VM no-contract phone with this one, be careful. I had an Optimus V from several years ago, so this phone's faster CPU and 4 GB of storage were significant upgrades for me. However, to transfer my account to this phone,...

This phone is lousy!

My first phone lasted just a few months. It was under warranty so it was replaced. Now, I cannot get the on button to engage without many, many tries. Sometimes it takes 24 button pushes to start. I should have called when it first started because...
