Just plain trash I STRONGLY do not recommend.

Exact same issues as everyone else. Every 10 minutes it would crash. On the internet with more than one tab open it would crash. Breathe on it it would crash. After buying a brand new power supply and graphics card it worked flawlessly.

Working As Intended (Update)

 

... but the pre-loaded software is not exactly pre-loaded! It has to install during the first few boot cycles. Don't attempt to bypass/cancel the install - it can fail in such a way as to disrupt Windows! I speak from experience, because 'something...

Update to previous review: The replacement unit is working as intended. Tons of RAM! Lots of hard drive! It's already 8.1, so you don't have to fuss with the 8 -> 8.1 update.

Nuisance pre-loaded OEM software Not 8.1 Pro. Please be advised!

I think if it works it would be a fantastic unit. To work around the problem of looking for a Hard Drive, just include a backup boot disc and the problem solved. I may attempt to purchase the unit again, but will request a backup boot disc.

The order was very fast. Very easy instructions to Set-up.

When I powered the unit up it only came to a Utility Bios Screen. The unit was asking for a DVD boot disc (Not Included). ASUS tech advised the the unit was unable to find the installed Hard Drive. I contacted New Egg and the unit has been shipped back...

Asus Delivers Again

 

In the world or dying desktops this is a solid reminder of why desktops are still so important. Its hard to get the performance of a machine like this one in a mobile device.

Cheap ; Decent Specs

Not a Happy Guy

 

When you order 2x PC's from Newegg, and they tell you that they cannot do anything due to they were only the store and not the distributor, that kind of makes me their customer feel like they could not care less that I got a failed product straight out...

Fast, and looks nice, very quiet!

Out of the 2x I ordered, one had no video output. Kind of sucks when you have 2 customers waiting on PC's and only one will be getting what they paid for.

The one that worked worked well!

I ordered 2 PC's and only ONE worked. I have been fighting with Newegg and Antonline all day! They are scraping to find ways to screw me out of my $625 for the FAULTY PC!
