My ear buds are on the shelf as backup. The noise cancelling is good, but not great. Works great on noise from my tractor, Sound quality is excellence. Cant complain for the price.

The noise canceling is relatively week. Bud earphones can block about as much noise as this noise canceling. But for $30 this price this is not a bad set of headphones. Top bar is minimally padded. Light on ears.
