KEF's M-400 may not be an exceptional on-ear headphone for the money, but it's certainly competent and attractively designed.

A little light on accessories for the price, KEF's M400 on-ear headphones do offer a high quality, notably bass-forward, audio experience.

Powerful audio performance with rich, full-bodied bass and solid balance between lows and highs. Detachable cable with inline remote and mic.

Doesn't include many accessories. Purists might find the sound a bit bass-heavy, lacking at times in the higher frequencies.

Skiller meget godt mellom instrumentene.

M400 er fjærlett og ligger meget komfortabelt utenpå ørene. Spesielt mellomtoneområdet gjengis med fabelaktig dynamikk, og sangstemmer kommer klokkeklart frem

Bassområdet mangler litt fylde, og vi kunne godt tenke oss enda mer luft i overtonene

Kefs kompakte hodetelefoner M400 byr på mye bra. Spesielt mellomtoneområdet låter kanonbra, og skiller meget godt mellom instrumenter og stemmer. Bassen er også meget differensiert og tonalt bra. Legg til at hodetelefonene er sammenleggbare, meget...

Avec le M400, KEF donne un petit frère à l'excellent M500. Il ne démérite pas, bien au contraire, mais son prix ne le distingue pas assez pour en faire une vraie alternative.

Le M400 fait partie de ces casques très appréciables mais dont le tarif élevé ne leur permet pas d'être qualifiés d'exceptionnels. D'autant que l'écart de prix avec le M500 (aux alentours des 300 euros) n'est pas si important.

Skiljer utmärkt på instrumenten.

M400 är fjäderlätt och ligger mycket bekvämt utanpå öronen. Framför allt mellanregistret återges med sagolik dynamik och sångröster framträder klockrent.

Basregistret saknar lite fyllighet och vi hade gott kunnat tänka oss ännu mer luft i övertonerna.

KEF:s kompakta hörlurar M400 är bra på mycket. Speciellt mellanregistret låter kanon, och skiljer mycket väl på instrument och röster. Basen är också oerhört differentierad och bra rent tonalt. Lägg därtill att hörlurarna är hopfällbara, ytterst...
