Good product from a great company

 

I've bought two of these; the first one paid for itself a dozen time but the battery wouldn't charge after a couple of year. No problem. But the replacement failed after just a few uses. I contacted Remington and they responded quickly and...

easy to use, saves money, pretty much idiot proof

had a premature failure and one unit that only lasted a couple of years

Great Potential...But Poor Quality

Does a very good job, except around your ears. Saves me $$ vs the barber shop/hair cutter.

Very poor quality.

Should have a bottle opener attachment.

This hair clipper seems to work really well as I like to keep my hair short. I have run this thing once for about 20min (being new to this method of cutting) it did not lose it's charge. I like that the combs and trim guard can be removed for cleaning....

A bit awkward around the ears having a curved edge and all. Doesn't run while on charger. They are not loud enough, I can still hear my wife in the background:)

Looks like a good design.

Very Disappointed

 

I think the unit is well designed and I probably just got unlucky. Remington themselves were VERY nice and are taking care of the situation. They promise a refund if this 3rd unit is malfunctioning.

Both units I received cut hair nicely for about 5 minutes, then they died. The good news is, this time Remington is sending me a new one directly from them at no cost to me.

RMA'd first unit, 2nd unit had same problem. Battery won't hold a charge.

REMINGTON SCC-100R

 

Not so good if you get a buggy unit that starts to freak out on you well after the 90 day return policy is up.

Easy to use and clean and angle of the blade makes getting those hard places much easier than with a traditional clipper.

It seems not all the devices turn out so well, first haircut went down w/o a problem, second time device started to malfunction and turn off every couple seconds, by the third haircut the device was totally shot, couldn't get more than 1/3 through...

They shouldn't be selling this for humans, ok for poodles though.

none, I'd return it

It doesn't cut hair (might be ok for pet grooming), scrapes your head, guard doesn't protect well. Manual says it's washable, I really doubt that.

I just recently moved and was fed up for looking for a new place to cut my hair. So I decided to buy this thing just for the fun of it. I let it charge for about 8 hours due to being impatient and the thing works great. Do make sure you have it at full...
