The FE2111SB is a good CRT for viewing text, and it offers a rich array of adjustment options. It also has an appealing price compared to other monitors with strong text.

Good image quality; moderately priced; onscreen menu is easy to navigate; optional NaViSet adjustment software available.

Lacks DVI input; tilt and swivel functions are stiff; front-panel buttons and onscreen menu could use an aesthetic makeover.

This reasonably priced jumbo CRT performs well, but it's hard to adjust and lacking in pizzazz.

Large size, small aperture grille. for gaming and for movies, viewing photography performance is first rate. Difficult to get as it is out of production, and highly sought after by graphic arts professionals. Will be gone soon. Get it if you can afford it

Geometry can be time consuming to get right. Be sure to get NaviSet software, and set resolution and freq (Minimum 1600x1200 85Khz) before you tweek the geometry and other settings. Pricey by the inch

high resolution & refresh rate, extremely sharp text, good menu selections

sometimes picture in the middle of the screen is blurry, brightness isnt that good(getting old?)

IT IS FRIGGIN HUGE!!!!!!!(like 80 lbs) so you better put on a hernia belt to lift this thing

I've had this monitor for a little more than two years and have enjoyed its excellent attributes since then. It has beautiful, accurate color rendering, smooth and neutral grayscale (and RGB & CMY) at 6500K color temp. (5000K is beautiful as well)....

Vertical shimmering may occur temporarily on parts of the screen due to the energy from the electron beam colliding onto the aperture grille. The two stabilizer wires cancel out this phenomenon most of the time. This display needs a half-hour warm-up...
