A unique and attractive design sets the S273HL apart, and its LED backlights help it achieve brilliant contrast and good colour reproduction, but it's far too expensive.

The 27in Acer S273HL is a little too much quantity and perhaps not quite enough image quality. But it is aimed more at game-players and TV/film watcher than a general-purpose PC user.

While there are two HDMI as well as VGA certain PC’s come only with a Digital connector and having this might have given extra options. So do check what you have before embarking on this purchase

DVI is a significant omission and the poor viewing angles are an issue, but the Acer S273HL is otherwise a reasonably capable 27in display. Its appeal will be influenced by the street price, though, since the RRP is steep compared to the competition.
