I purchased this a few years ago, and I wasn't expecting much from a Sceptre branded monitor. But it was $120 after a rather large rebate, and had comparable "specs," to the high end Samsung and Sony offerings of the time - while being half the price...

Suffers a bit of dithering with very dark images and movies. Somewhat distracting when watching a movie without external light sources. Short warranty - Luckily, mine works perfectly fine - so being out of warranty after several years isn't an issue...

This monitor is huge. No dead pixels. Packaged really well. Just plugged it in and it worked running under Ubuntu at 1920x1200

1920x1200, does 1920x1080, Stand is okay, nice shiny finish, no dead pixels from what I could tell

Gamma was off, and everything looked washed out, but that was easily fixed with the settings
