The ViewSonic G220f is a large CRT with good mainstream performance, but serious graphics professionals should look elsewhere.

Good image quality for games, DVDs, and Internet; lots of image-adjustment options.

Bulky; exhibits some color compression; hints of pink and green in the grayscales.

Follow up

 

After about 3 months this monitor seems to have burnt out one of its capacitors, so it had a hard time turning on and was losing power while on. I sent the monitor back to ViewSonic on 12/15/05. I was told that the monitor would be here around the...

Great performance

Great for games, very immersive, visual impact much greater than 19" screen.

Huge, not high enough quality for graphics pros(by a long shot). Blacks weak.
