Logitech RX700 Smart Cordless Mouse

Works on just about any surface, unless its REALLY glossy or pitted. I've owned this mouse for 9 months and I'm on my second set of batteries(always use panasonic alkalines if you go to the right place they're only $1 for 2 of em and they last forever)

the only con I can think of is the usb dongle it is a bit bulky and you cant put it side-by-side with another dongle. But this isn't really a con for me because my laptop has 2 usb on one side and 1 one the other
