Lake all HP laptops, the fan is set to Fan always on, so initially it is noisy, but turn this feature off and you have a good laptop for everyday use. This will never be a game player, but you would have to pay 3 times as much for such a model. If you...

The screen is a great size, which is what I wanted in a laptop. From the day I set up the laptop, I have never known a device take so long running updates & it was very loud - which shouldn't be the case for a new laptop. Two months on - it still is...
