Do NOT purchase...WORTHLESS!

 

I'm not some computer genius, but I have built computers and bought many computers/laptops in my lifetime. I know how to remove bloatware, etc. Believe me, this computer is HOPELESS. Do NOT purchase. This was my first, and now last, Lenovo product I...

Nothing...because this thing does not do anything other than freeze.

Takes forever to boot up or to do anything. No joke, 10-15 minutes later you can hear the laptop still processing who knows what. Try to open Task Manager to see what it is doing...forget about it, go make a sandwich and come back and Task Manager...

Performs well with an SSD

 

My daughter has been using this for about a month. With an SSD it performs well enough to do homework and stream videos.

Cost Has windows Pro

Had issues with the USB drivers not allowing windows to load correctly after a fresh install. I had to have something plugged into the USB port or windows froze while booting. Updated the USB driver to fix it.

Questionable product, bad motherboard. Quit working within 2 weeks. Dropped the mother board without any understandable cause. Not the sellers fault,

 

I wouldn't get an AMD powered ThinkPad ever again simply due to the rapid failure here. I've never seen this issue in an intel powered book, but maybe I've been fortunate.

Lenovo software is ready to go. Relatively fast set up. Not a bad product by that token.

It died right away. Single flaw? Regular occurrence for the E455? Who can say...

Nothing but trash

 

This was a gift for someone and from day one it had issues. It would not update at all. It crashed so many times. After some time I was able to install win. 10 which seemed to fix the previous issues. However just today it died. I can not recommend...

Price was the only pro.

Everything. Build quality is poor. This laptop was the slowest one I've ever seen.

Not Very impressed however Cool LED logo light

 

I think Lenovo should hire me to help them kit out the machines to get max performance for same price... their guys are doing a poor job.. i mean really why cripple dual channel machine with single channel memory then add a HDD THAT SLOWS IT DOWN SOME...

Arrived less than 3 days after I ordered it ! this does impress me. also pros-> small and light - neat keyboard layout and the think-pad logo has a cool red LED for the dot on the i .....

Biggest con was the screen had some think lines in the display as soon as I powered it up. second problem was I spent 3 hours on two days each for researching and then either removing or tweeking the Lenovo bloatware that came with the Win 7 64 bit OS....

Slow computers

 

Cheap

Frequently fails to recognize items plugged into USB ports. Slow to boot. Slow to plug and play. Just overall slow.
