Awesome Receiver RX-Z11

 

The receiver was double boxed by Newegg and for good reason. The outer box was damaged but no damage to the inner box. Newegg is definitely the number one choice for all your electronic purchaces!

Everythig you'ed expect from a high end receiver. Sounds great and feels like they took thier time building the product. The unit picked up my home network without a hitch. Played the songs on my media player perfectly

Like everyone else is saying the remote stinks

Superb Audio & DSP

 

Newegg didn't double box when ship the unit out, my unit almost get damaged during shipment. Double-boxed this expensive & heavy unit would be more secure & recommended.

Top of the line Yamaha Receiver, high quality build. Powerful amplifier section, best DSP in the market. Very big transformer and capacitors, got a lot of reserved power. It can drive 3.2 ohms speakers without any drop out

Just make sure that your audio cabinet is strong enough to handle 75 lbs unit

Great Audio Section

 

Yamaha appears to be blowing these units out in preparation for a new 2010 model. Get one before they are gone! With the current economy, the next flagship from Yamaha will likely be significanlty cost reduced and something will be missing compared to...

This is my second Z11. It has a fantastic audio section, equal in performance to many external discrete audio amps. When buying an AVR, heavier is better! Most low and mid-end AVRs have high power ratings, but if you read the fine print, are only...

The HDMI ports get loose over time and the cables can fall out. Remote is weak and has limited range. Aftermarket remotes work quite well with the Z11. The Z11 can get very warm if shrouded in an AV Rack. Recommend it be the top component in any stack....

Awesome Audio

 

I have the Z-11 in an 11.2 set up. Awesome THX movies. Best music audio ever, clean and clear. Newegg's price is fantastic!!!!!!

Just read the specs., see Yamaha website for more info., Z-11 has been on the market for 2 years and there is nothing better than this in a single AVR ; Excellent Audio and Video. 75Lb. Top Quality build
