Consolidates connections into a convenient area.

Ethernet port does not work under Xubuntu 14. Keeps trying to connect but always fails. Ethernet works if plugged directly into laptop. Display flickers. Need windows to fix the problem.

Easy to setup and use. Removes clutter of connecting external screen(s), keyboard, mouse and other devices. Matches ThinkPad design. If you would like to connect more than one screen this is must have.

Had to update docking driver once I received it, it used to disconnect and reconnect from time to time to external screens. Found solution on Lenovo website, was easy to update docking driver.

This dock has a small footprint on my desk and has front USB ports for linking devices quickly.

I don't like that the audio input is on the front of the dock rather than the back. This is only an annoyance and doesn't effect usability.
