I was surprised right off the bat. I was looking for some compact speakers that sound good for less than $40. That's what these are, compact. I wouldn't use any bass boost, if your audio software has it. they start to get a little distorted at %85...

Volume low, wires for speakers not long enough to place speakers apart. Sound ok a little tinny. Not much louder than laptop speakers.
