Update to January 2007 review

 

I requested that Newegg remove my earlier review, because the initial power problem ended up being fixed quite easily. However, that never happened, so in fairness, I decided to write this second review.

This unit has been highly reliable and a work-horse for my office. It is a great value for the price

I started having a vertical stripe appear on scanned documents when using the automatic feed. The stripe never appears when making photocopies and never appears if using the manual flat-bed scan. Tech support and the knowledge base only recommend...

Good printer, especially for the price.

Very good print quality. Very fast to first copy from "sleep mode." Document feeder very easy to use.

Printed copy has a bit of a curl.

Have now had this for about a year and it is very reliable. Have put a ; new cartridge in it. We use this a lot every day. Excellent deal

Only thing I can say negative is that it takes only 250 sheets in the drawer, but I knew that going in

Purchased to be used as a copier only. Has worked well thru 19k s. Question drum life since it's down to 18%

Price and features and functionality.

Can't think of any - does what we ask it to.

Died in first week of use

 

The speed was great.

My machine was receiving only normal, not heavy use when I saw a flash of light and the sound you hear when a light bulb burns out.
