Kodak ESP 5250 review: Kodak ESP 5250

Kodak ESP 5250

Improved photo quality and speed over previous model; 2.4-inch LCD screen; easy to use Home Center software.

Fickle paper input tray; expensive; lacks auto-document feeder, USB port and scanner hinge.

Kodak's ESP 5250 multifunction printer isn't marred by the errors of its predecessors, but it still needs improvement before it can keep up with the competition. Right now, its pleasing photo quality and satisfactory output speed don't justify the $170...

Kodak ESP 5250 review

The ESP 5250 is Kodak's latest upgrade to last year's ESP 5 all-in-one printer, which should be obvious from the almost identical design. Aside from looks, the printer does make improvements to print quality and, most notably, its output speed....

Kodak ESP 5250 all-in-one printer

Kodak's latest all in one printer, copier and scanner is a compact, attractive looking, machine that combines a scanner, copier and photo quality printer combining low ink costs with good photo output and nice scans if you just need relatively small...

Easy to set-up, even the Wi-Fi printing, good photo print quality, good "laser-like" text output, good scans

Paper feed jams, slow shut down process, it tries to restart on its own if connected to a network, slower print speeds than claimed, Dot Replacement not available in borderless printing

The Kodak ESP 5250 is a nicely made and easy to use all-in-one device, the low ink cost is important in your purchase consideration, even if you see cheaper machines on the market, compare ink costs as well. Some manufacturers' devices cost less than a...

Kodak ESP 5250 review

The ESP 5250 is a tried and tested model that's been with us for some time, it's is marginally faster than the C310, but the C310's print quality is better

Print Quality it rubbish

Print quality is disgusting especially considering that it is Kodak, the paper started to jam after 3 months of use. Has a Lexmark before and am going back to Lexmark without doubt

Easy setup,Easy to use

Noisy,Jams easily

I could eat the cartridges and puke better copies

Crap wifi. Crap quality of prints. Cheap ink but considering the cartridges have approximately three drops each replacements make up for the low cost. Print heads are crap. Scanner is slow and noisy. I've used less than 200 sheets and I've never...

Reached inner peace after letting go of the frustration

Pretty much everything

Could be better, could be a LOT worse

Seems to do OK for the money, I paid $68.00 for mine w/$50.00 rebate, so it only cost me $18.00.

Easy to set-up, easy to use. Simple software & performs well for the money.

Shakes like hell, uses WAY more ink than advertised and BOTH black & color have to be replaced when one runs out. 420 pages my A$$!

Beyond dire

I bought this primarily because Kodak advertised it as having one of (if not the) lowest running cost of any inkjet. Just how wrong can you be?

Absolutely none. This is only fit for the rubbish tip

Rubbish Wifi, poor print quality, door drivers, extraordinarily high ink use, noisy, slow and dreadful

"Junk Machine, not worth the money or your time."

I'll never buy another Kodak product ever. It's not the quality that they claimed it was and they do not stand behind their products.I've spent a fortune on printheads and replacement cartridges and in just over a year I have printed less than 200...

There are no pros.

I've spent more time on the phone to Kodak uninstalling and reinstalling software than any other printer I have ever used.
