Epson Artisan 810

The Epson Artisan 810 color inkjet multifunction printer has speed and versatility to spare. Considering the price ($300 as of November 24, 2009), however, we expected better overall output quality.

Skin tones on glossy paper are realistic ; Low black-ink cost ; Very fast

Input trays are flimsy ; Plain-paper print quality is grainy ; Expensive

This speedy MFP comes loaded, but it should have better overall print quality for the price.

Epson Artisan 810

The Artisan 810 offers both Ethernet and WiFi support, making it easy to share. It can print, scan, and fax over a network; work as a standalone copier and fax machine; and scan to e-mail over a network (something the 800 couldn't do) by automatically...

Fast. Ethernet and WiFi. Prints, scans, and faxes over network. Duplexer. Automatic document feeder

Sub-par text quality. Low paper capacity

Packed with features, but limited by low paper capacity, the Epson Artisan 810 is a good fit for both home and light-duty home office use.

Review: Epson Artisan 810 multifunction device

Epson's Artisan 810 color inkjet multifunction printer has speed and versatility to spare. Considering the price, however, we expected better overall output quality.

Though the Artisan 810’s text-printing speed was just average at about 7.3 pages per minute, it finished at or near the top in all of our other print, scan, and copy speed tests. The output quality was less stellar. On Epson’s own photo paper, flesh...

Review: Epson Artisan 810 All-in-One Printer

We highly recommend the Artisan 810, not only for its Wi-Fi capability, but also because of its superb print quality and performance.

Wi-Fi capability; print from iPhone; sleek design; easy to set up and use; fast print speed; great print quality; automatic duplex printing; color fax; two-year warranty

Bulky design; price

Poor Quality Product, Excellent Customer Service

On the positive side, Epson's customer service has been excellent. When I called both times they overnighted a replacement with no hassles. But, they seem to keep sending refurbished replacements of the same flawed 810 model which will most likely...

Reasonably fast, great photo print quality, nice features, some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced

The top document feeder is flawed and breaks. I’m now on my third one replaced under warranty. Both times had the exact same problem. The document feeder gets jammed on a piece of paper and that seems to break it. I do very light faxing and copying...

I will need to get an extended warranty with Square Trade. Newegg does not know how to deal with Service Net very well.

Easy to set up ; Great print quality ; Wireless & Ethernet ; Scan + Copy works good ; Bluetooth?? I haven't used it yet

Sucks up ink like crazy so I needed to install a Continuous Ink System (CIS) to resolve that. It is also mostly plastic

great photos but garbage quality

The original unit only worked for three months. Epson sent two replacements and the scanner/copy function either broke immediately or did not work out of the box. I gave up and will throw this thing away as soon as my expensive stash of color ink is...

Excellent photo printing and reasonable fast, small footprint for multifunction device, memory card slot, wireless

scanner/copy/fax function defective, bad paper feed, flimsy output tray

Best printer buy I've ever made

To all the ratings that have complaints on the ink: think about what you're using this for. This printer was designed for Home Use, not some business. If you want miserly ink usage, get a laserjet, or maybe a Kodak, since they advertise that their...

This product surprised me and amazed me at every moment. I've fallen in love with how well it handles my tasks. As a home user, I couldn't ask for anything more. The CD/DVD printing capability was spot on and was something I did not suspect this...

Priced at ~$200 and it fulfilled all my needs (scan, fax, fast print, high quality, and even CD/DVD print) How on earth could I have complaints ; Yes, it does have a large footprint, I guess some people don't expect/like that. It's smaller than most...

So Far, So Good

I'm a college student whose printer died on the first day of class so on top of dropping $2000 for tuition and $750 for books, I was facing the possibility of having to pay upwards of $250 for a printer to replace my HP multi-function printer (which I...

Nice photo quality on 4x6 prints (have not done any larger), duplex feature saves on paper use, easy to set up (I'm using a mac with OS X 10.5.8), Wireless is very handy

Large footprint, paper tray isn't the easier to load and it feels cheap
