Our Purchasing dept got sold on these for the price we were able to get through a reseller. While the price may have been a deal, the units themselves weren't. Roughly 2 out of 10 devices were received with bad sensors and Ricoh's customer support /...

So far so good. We have two of these printers. We bought them third quarter of 2011 for payroll and AP. We bought them because they have a micr toner option. We have printed thousands of paychecks and AP checks without a single jam.

I have a love/hate relationship with Ricoh products. This printer has been very reliable, but documentation (compared to HP) is hard to come by. It is a heavily used printer (> 15,000/month), and is frugal with toner.

Fat printing, easy setup, good value, low toner costs for high-yield cartridges.
