The Epson WorkForce 645 provides solid output, decent speed, and a good feature set as a micro- or home-office MFP.

Good feature set. Duplexing ADF. Decent speed.

Slightly sub-par output quality, particularly for graphics.

Best and cheapest (price) high-quality printer I have owned.

 

This printer was a snap to install, including wireless. It does double-sided scanning, copying and printing. Fax works very well. Holds a lot of paper and a super-sized black cartridge. I love it. Three years and not a hiccup.

Fast, quiet, cheap, small footprint, handles 8-1/2x14

Can't access anything on the SD card except .jpg.

-Does most of what high end devices do -Prints, faxes, scans and copies two sided -Decent volume from black ink cartridge -Modest footprint -Easy to use control panel -All at an impressive price point

-Draft print quality not as usable as other ink jets I've used -No manual feed slot -Printing envelops a bit cumbersome

My second Epson.

 

This is a good-quality printer, but be aware it drinks ink like an alcoholic. The cartridges are smaller than my previous Epson's, but cost about the same, which is a great racket if your last name is Epson.

Lots of features, quality printing.

Guzzles ink. Some of the plastic parts seem flimsy.

you'd really like this printer!

 

My previous printer was an Epson CX8400. It had most of the same features as this printer but it went through ink like nothing. It also broke with light use after 3 years. I was looking to replace it and the last thing I wanted was another Epson. But...

Print quality is solid, epson ink is vibrant and dries instantly, Printing speed is very good, Setting up was very easy, Great fax capability, Small foot print, Auto update of firmware over network.

Difficult printing on envelopes (see summary), Printer is a bit loud.
