Nice colours, sharp image, well-implemented 100Hz mode

LG's latest plasma, the 42in 42PG60, is a nice step up from its past units and is a well-rounded option for users looking to make the jump to HD.

The 50PG6000 is far and away LG's finest flat TV to date, combining a striking and innovative design with some excellent performance standards, bags of features, and above all, a price that's so reasonable it's almost silly.

This is no world-beater, but for £1200 or less it's hard to argue with

Full image backup and restore worked fine. The Acronis Secure Zone makes a decent option for those with a single disk drive and partition.

We were surprised to find a serious bug in single file restore, but it has since been fixed. No native DVD support.
