Very Happy

 

In the end, I figured the glare I get (and can control) is better than viewing an LCD at an angle. I mean, you pay this much for the best possible picture, why choose a product that diminishs that picture quality when looking at it from off-center???...

I probably did too much homework, if that is possible. I am very happy with my decision and you will be as well with this set. This replaced a Sony HD XBR (tube) that was very good, but the 800u greatly outperforms it

The glare I read sooooo much about and was the scariest part of making my decision IS present, but I only seem to notice it when I think about it

Oustanding Picture.....but.....

 

If you can control the ambient light in your room, THIS TV IS FOR YOU!! I really did my homework before picking this TV. I can't say that I regret the choice to buy this plasma at all. I badly wanted to give it 5 eggs, and if you judge on picture...

Amazing TV for the price

 

As usual Newegg rocks - great products, prices and quick shipping. Got the free shipping at the time I ordered (Saturday) and was delivered to my door step on Friday.

Rated as one of the best HDTVs by Consumer reports and cnet.com. One of the few THX certified displays. 4 HDMI ports
