Perfect for what I wanted

 

Bought this to travel with. We use it to record canine agility trials. Easy to transfer trial videos to the computer, edit them together (change .mod extension to .mpg) and make DVDs.

Compact, great picture quality even when not at highest settings, travels well, great capacity

Anti-shake not quite up to some other brands, but I guess it's hard to stablize a 700x zoom

Not good

 

Great price, great features

DOA. Like another reviewer, it arrived and would not charge the battery. Worked on ac power but shut off immediately under battery power. Will have to see how long until I get my replacement

Small and packed with features

 

If you are traveling with this camera, since there is no tape drive, the TSA allows this to remain in your hand luggage. Tested this in SFO, ORD, DTW, SYD, AKL airports. There was a sign that said "remove video recorders with a tape drive".

Very easy to use, bought it for a trip to Australia, and forgot to bring the manual. It was easy to figure out, and took fantastic quality video. It is so small that it fits into a shirt pocket. Battery life is fantastic, lasted all day with only...

Fabulous

 

This was a great deal for my son and his family with a newborn. I just hope it doesn't break prematurely. Excellent features, plenty of storage. Since JVC Everio was the pioneer of hard drive camcorders, this should be a winner.

Great features for the price

No warranty, and lousy packaging for gift giving, but that's what refurbs are all about

We'll see how quickly Newegg sends me a replacement.

None camera was DOA out of the box

Ordered a day before the rest of the family everyone received their cameras first. Received mine last after ordering first and ended up being DOA
