Great video camera

Couldn't be happier with my decision to purchase this Sony camcorder. The touch screen menu on the LCD is really neat and eliminates buttons on the machine. Great picture quality and sound. For the price, this is a great deal.

Extremely compact size (fits great in the hand), very nice picture quality even in low light situations, touch screen menu on the LCD

Battery life isn't the greatest, but it never has been on camcorders. A good idea to have a 2nd battery and keep it charged if you'll be doing a lot of filming in one day (kids baseball games, etc)

Good camera, good value

The Sony Handycam DCR-HC28 is a very good camcorder. It is easy to use, has touch screen, uses mini DV tapes, shoots stills and movies, has slot for memory stick pro duo, and works well.
