The cheapest model in Kärcher's SC range of cylinder steam cleaners claims to offer a deep clean for the home with 'nothing but water'. We put this claim to the test-using the steam cleaner on a number of different surfaces and stains.

Initially very happy with the product but after a while noticed the filler was starting to corrode against the screw thread and it became impossible to remove rending the machine junk.

Had cleaner for about 3 weeks now and it works perfectly. Great for though hard to reach places.

Bought this to steam clean the kitchen walls before decorating. Did a great job and we have already thought of many other jobs for which it will be useful. Instruction manual is a bit naff but there is not that much to work out.

I've only used it once. The knob on water tank gets stuck - I had to wait 15 min in order for the machine to cool down before I could refill it. I think it leaves too much water behind, or maybe it is only my impression. I need to used it more to have...

Brings the carpet up beautifully and removes most stains unless they have been there for ages and set in.

This compact steamer for small to medium size property, is PERFECT

Bought this a month ago and find it's so easy to use has lots of different tools and cloths to use and not to big to store away

Used it for cleaning oven racks, great job, and so little time to complete.
