Excellent for hard floor as well as on carpet. It has a long cable that means you can sweep the entire room without switching the plugs. Only downside is that it had a small dust collector but I won't mind that at all. It's a way cheaper than Dyson but...

Just right for the upstairs floor and stairs. I don't need too many tools.

Brilliant hoover lots of power work on my wood, tile, carpet and mat runners picks everything up I find it loads better than my Dyson hoover.
