Pantech Crossover (AT&T)

The Pantech Crossover is an interesting, semi-rugged take on the common Android smartphone, although it has a few significant flaws.

Distinctive design. Roomy QWERTY keyboard. Great battery life.

Sluggish. Small screen. Stubborn touch response.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The Crossover isn't the best multimedia phone. You must pull the battery to swap microSD cards, which is a pain. Pantech throws in a 2GB microSD card, and my 32GB SanDisk card worked fine; there's also 422MB of free...

Pantech Crossover

If you've been hunting for an affordable Android phone with a full QWERTY keyboard, consider the Pantech Crossover on AT&T. The Crossover ($70 with a new two-year AT&T contract, as of June 13, 2011) makes for a good messaging phone, but it doesn't seem...

Decent camera ; Physical QWERTY keyboard

Sluggish performance in games ; Poor audio quality

The Pantech Crossover has terrible multimedia capabilities.

Pantech Crossover (AT&T) review

Pantech has sure come a long way. From the tiny C300 to the double-slider Helio Ocean , Pantech has mostly been known as a feature phone maker in the U.S. So we were quite surprised to see the Pantech Crossover, the company's first-ever Android handset...

The Pantech Crossover has a bright screen, a roomy physical keyboard, decent photo quality, and a good set of connectivity features that includes 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

The Pantech Crossover has a rather small screen for viewing Web pages or video, and call quality is mixed.

The Pantech Crossover is a well-built entry-level Android smartphone for AT&T customers who want a physical keyboard.

Pantech Crossover Review

Heavily known for their line of feature phones, Pantech is one of those companies that simply continues to pump out an exorbitant amount of handsets throughout the year, but they've seemingly held off from making the jump into the smartphone world....

Pantech Crossover review

The Pantech Crossover is one of those phones that's hard to place. It's a bit smaller than most of it's smartphone brethren, isn't packing the latest components, plus it's got a retro-funky design. I...

Overall, I think the Pantech Crossover is a nice device for the low-end market. However, I would not recommend it for anyone looking to lock themselves into a two-year contract. If, through some twist of fate, this phone ever becomes prepaid, that...

Pantech Crossover Review by Sydney

Pantech isn't really known for making smartphones, but they do have a decent track record when it comes to their featurephones.

Well-designed UI; excellent battery life while on standby; decent physical keyboard

Terrible battery life with normal use; small display; thick, chunky, heavy hardware; looks and feels like a featurephone; unresponsive touchscreen

While testing out the Crossover, I kept thinking that there was something about it that just wasn't right. I couldn't put my finger on it, but I finally figured it out. The Crossover doesn't feel like a smartphone. Everything, from the small design and...

Review: Pantech Crossover

Pantech's first Android smartphone for AT&T scores well for a newb. It combines the right mixture of features, design, and price to be a tempting target at AT&T retail shops.

"So slow it sucks the life right out of you!"

If this is what "SMART" phones are all about then I will just use my laptop and a flip phone!! I have an 8GB SD Card which does not help at all!

If I turn off 3g and wifi I can actually make a phone call quicker.

SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I thought these were supposed to be like a mini computer. I have never seen a phone lock up so much that you can't even make a phone call! My wife doesn't have the problems with her I-Phone as I have with this one.
