Pantech is known for producing budget Android smartphones that punch above their weight, and the Flex is no exception. Available now on AT&T for $50 with a two-year contract, it delivers a dual-core Snapdragon S4 -- the same chip that lurks within...
Excellent performance and value ; Great battery life ; Top-notch call quality ; Better than average display
Lousy camera ; Buggy software
The Pantech Flex offers excellent performance and is a great value. Unfortunately, its dismal camera is a major turn-off.

The Pantech Flex for AT&T is a tremendous value for the money, with features and performance comparable with much pricier smartphones.
Fast processor and LTE speeds. Ultra-thin, attractive design. Good battery life. Easy Experience mode for smartphone newbies.
Middling video camera. No NFC.
The Flex runs Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich). There's no word yet on an update to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), but you do get to choose whether you'd like to use Pantech's simplified UI, which it calls Easy Experience.

Two things make the Pantech Flex for AT&T an extremely interesting Android smartphone. First, with highfalutin specs like Android. 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, the Flex is Pantech's most...
For $50, the Pantech Flex has a lot to offer, including LTE, Android 4.0, and an optional mode for first-timers.
Pantech overdesigned the ICS interface, the 8-megapixel camera stumbles, and no NFC means there's no Android Beam support.
Its bargain price tag will help prospective buyers overlook the Pantech Flex's weaknesses, and those seeking Android Ice Cream Sandwich with training wheels will find its optional easy mode appealing.

Being Pantech and all, they have this reputation in the mobile industry as being a value based manufacturer, which is rightfully so considering the unprecedented amount of inexpensive devices they bring to the market. As we've witnessed, they tried...
Solid industrial design for a Pantech device ; Inexpensive $50 price point ; Good balance of hardware & performance
Slow shutter speed ; Dull platform experience
Factoring all of its features, hardware, and price point, it’s very hard to not like the Pantech Flex. No doubt, it really flexes its muscles enough to make it a fine offering in many ways, and without question, this is the most soundly premium...

The Pantech Flex is one of the slimmest, most attractive smartphones ever offered by Pantech. Appearances, however, can be deceiving. Phone Scoop's full report gives you the skinny on this thin cell phone.

AT&T Pantech Flex ReviewAre you a big fan of Samsung Galaxy S2, but cannot afford to buy it? Sure, we cannot provide you all the features of Galaxy S2 at a low price, but of course we can grant you the same high ...

So mad, will never get another Pantech phone again! Got this phone as a free upgrade and it doesn't hold a charge, got a new battery after only 3 months of owning it! That didn't help at all. I can't even use wifi or apps, games etc! AT&T sent me a new...
Seemed like a good phone
Highest battery drain I've ever seen from a phone.

I posted this review to warn others that this phone had good potential , but is a big bust and you have to avoid it. ATT gave us a phone # to call for free replacement of our two phones. Will be doing that asap as the phone not working every other week...
Good price, lots of features, easy mode, big screen.
Stops working so you must take out battery and put back in to get it on again. MAJOR DEFECT! The camera is slow and pics are avg at best.
