Decent for the money

 

Ship with Mint 15 and everyone will be happy!

This machine makes a great Linux Mint workstation. It's cheap and works well for web browsing and other low resource tasks. I would buy another

The Linux distro that comes preinstalled is rubbish and as a I have limited tech knowledge, it took me some time to figure out how to upgrade the kernel to 10.11 so that a Linux Mint 15 distro would work properly

This is a great computer for probably anything except maybe gaming. I love the small footprint. How they get all that computing power in such a small package is Amazing. If you need a Cd or DVD drive then you'll have to get an external one, but other...

Bizarre graphics hardware

 

This would make a VERY nice box for Asterisk, Zoneminder, backup operations and lots of other things... If only the graphics weren't so disagreeable.

I deploy and manage quite a few Linux servers for a number of clients. This box ships with Linpus Linux, so I thought other recent distros would install easily. I prefer CentOS for server tasks and Ubuntu for user-centric boxes. I tried Ubuntu 12.04...
