Video card nightmare

 

I believe I have found the equivalent video board that Nvidea makes. It is purchased and on the way. I used an Nvidea board (with the same specs) in the Asus motherboard computer that I assembled for myself, it works flawlessly.

It's new

When I started the system using the HDMI port on the video card, the video on my brand new monitor had a 1" black border on all 4 sides. I called Asus, they blamed the monitor. Called Acer, they blamed Asus. The Asus installed AMD Radeon r7 240 board...
