Asus ROG Strix GL12CX

The first 9th Generation Core i9 PC we've tested, the Asus ROG Strix GL12CX will thrill serious esports hounds, with the speed and a feature set to match, but value and upgrade concerns temper a wider recommendation.

Powerful performer, with cutting-edge 9th Generation Core, Nvidia RTX parts. Compact design. Restrained-but-customizable chassis LEDs. Bundled mouse and keyboard are a cut above.

Expensive. Niche target audience. Tight squeeze for maintenance and expansion.

Bottom Line: The first 9th Generation Core i9 PC we've tested, the Asus ROG Strix GL12CX will thrill serious esports hounds, but value and upgrade concerns temper a wider recommendation.
