This hard-core gaming computer packs in two video cards, water-cooling and an insanely fast processor
Massively overpowered, water cooling cuts down on noise, well-constructed case
Enormous, prohibitively expensive, water cooling isn’t particularly quiet, no eSATA on front panel
Dell’s behemoth XPS 730x gaming PC is overkill. Two video cards, water cooling, a mammoth processor, 6GB of RAM and a garish full tower case combine to make a machine that will handle any recent game thrown at it, and its performance was excellent...

Dell's XPS 730X stands for Xtremely Pricey System
Good looks ; Astonishing performance
The price ; Graphics could be better
A whopper of a PC in both size and price, but it does offer unbeatable (so far) performance

With the XPS 730x, Dell brings Core i7 to its flagship gaming PC line.
Sturdy case is easily upgradable. One-kilowatt power supply. ATI CrossfireX- or Nvidia SLI-capable motherboard. Innovative lighting. Blu-ray reader. Available in an H2C version. Cheaper than the $5K club members. Bluetooth included.
Big and heavy (if you ever have to move it). Could use another data drive. No hard switch for reset or power.

Machine worked out of the box without any problems. Has exceded my expectations
I thought it took to long to build and ship, almost 8 weeks. But it was worth the wait

All in all I'm so happy with this computer. When I start looking for a new one, I always get hooked on the higher end systems, as happened here. I'm happy to own one, even though I will have to eat beans for months to help pay for it.
The XPS 730X is a massive system, I'm not sure where to start. As has been stated before, this thing starts up like a jet plane and then quiets down to hardly any sound. And it is huge, read the dimensions to make sure you have room for this system,...
Did I say this was massive? I was glad I wasn't alone when the box came, I would have never been able to get it out

Surfing around on the Outlet last week, and found this config for less than $2000.00. I7 940 (Air Cooled) Radeon 4870 x2 (2 gb) 6 GB DDR3 2x 1 TB Hard drive 19 n 1 Reader w/Bluetooth It shipped quick, and in my hands in less than 3 days. Although...
Everything! It's faster than anything I've ever used, and so far, stable as a rock. Everything is nice and smooth on my 24" monitor running at a full 1920x1200. World of Warcraft and SPORE never looked so good! As an IT tech for over 25 years, I can...
It's a little larger (physically) than I expected, (had to modify my desk a bit) but that's minor compared to the POWER of this thing

Pricey unfortunately. i7 920 running at 3.8 hz saves over $700 Smokin processor, but a 9800GT - go for the extra $200 and get a GTX285 - still saving $500 Was it 3 gigs of RAM - what's wrong with 6 (3 is a good start to run Vista)? Performance 4 Value...
