A good Win 8.1 machine for someone with modest needs and some patience. Plenty of RAM for everyday tasks and even heavy video editing if you are patient. Very low power consumption. I don't think I measured anything much beyond 30 watts once booted,...

Not a negative, but realize the speed is more like one of the hotter netbooks. I couldn't find the secret of creating backup disks, or any other way to be able to restore if the hard drive crashed

Good basic PC

Good for a basic computer for an office, or for mom or a kids 1st PC.

Price, small, Windows 8, 4 gig Ram, HDMI port, runs my business software just fine. I did however install Windows 7 X64 instead of the pre-loaded Windows 8. Wanted to try Win 8 though so now I did. yuck

Was disappointed that there is no LPT port. I have an older laser printer and was left hanging when it got here. Easy to hash out though with USB's

Its OKAY

When I received the item the back of the unit was caved in pretty badly. I needed a computer for school and did not have the time to send it back and wait for another unit. The damage was cosmetic and I figured if it broke down because of it, it would...

It was affordable for what my budget was at the time. It was nice to have and HDMI output. I couldn't find many other desktops with that option in that price range. Its been reliable so far

30 days good, then bad.

No warranty support, although Newegg website stated it had a 90 day limited parts and labor warranty. Warranty was through manufacturer Gateway. Gateway did not recognize the serial number being covered under any warranty.

Item shipped in good condition. Speed and storage was as expected

After about 30 days, the unit would just shut down while on the internet or playing a card game. Now it will shut down randomly. Seems it could be a thermal issue either part or connection. Computer is out in the open where air can circulate

Mixed emotions!

You would think from previous purchasers that have complained about shipping damage that shipping department would maybe use bubble wrap and separators to keep things from slamming into each other!
