Great product... with one glaring problem
Generally, I would still recommend this desktop, despite the heat issues. If you know what you're getting into and can sort those out, it's a very solid system.

Overheating
If it didn't overheat when gaming, I imagine it could be an excellent gaming PC
After about 10 minutes of gameplay, the computer shut itself down. I installed SpeedFan and saw that the CPU was overheating. If anything, I would have expected the GPU to run hot, but not the processor. So far I have been unable to game uninterrupted....
