the letters on the keyboard are rubbing off already and it looks a mess. the mouse is a cheap basic one cheerful with no extra functions.

Screen is beautiful, even when the system is locked up.

It locks up all the time, and Sony won't fix it. Their solution was to format the hard drive (losing all my data and programs) and send it back to me. I wouldn't spend so much on a Sony, as it is too big a gamble if you get a lemon, like I did.

Quick access internet at start up is a pain. Would have been nice to have full Microsoft Office rather than just icons.

Picture quality is great.

The fan behind the screen is constantly on and surprisingly noisy - to the extent that it becomes irritating after no more than half an hour. The left/right click function on the mouse supplied is very imprecise and poor.

Lovely clear, crisp screen and very flexible to use. Love Windows 7 which comes pre-loaded.

The keyboard does seem a little small - perhaps because I am a touch typist and so I am used to slightly bigger keys.
