Mr. Martin static is usually a phone line problem not a phone defect!. ;-)

I like the quality and performance of the phone "but" the cordless handset in the other room rings 2 or 3 times before the base set rings. Some times it will transfer the call to voice mail before the base even rings. This causes a lot of missed calls.

basic function that makes this unusable for me is that after a call is receive and I want to call it back, I'd have to save it and edit it then redial it. Not very effective.

This is a great phone. Just charge the battery and it is ready. It is very easy to add phone numbers to the directory. This is our second Radio Shack phone and we felt we got great quality and value!!
