The AKG K390 earphones feature a durable, understated design that offers both passive sound isolation and active noise cancellation. The NC module looks sleek and has a built-in shirt clip; sound quality is solid with or without noise canceling...

The AKG K390 earphones are expensive, the noise cancellation module is bulky and heavy, and the earbuds may not be totally secure and comfortable for all users. Bass response suffers slightly with noise cancellation turned on.

The AKG K390 Noise-Canceling earphones offer a sleek-looking design and two types of noise-hushing capabilities, but the high price tag and inconvenient noise-canceling module may be a turnoff for some.
