I've tested a lot of headphones at Techaeris but the Focal Elegia were my first true Hi-Fi headphone experience and they are amazing.

I bought these a week or so ago & very impressed with the sound quality & comfort the build quality is excellent. Bass is crisp & positive smooth mid range with the upper range crisp & bright without being shrill.

I bought these to go with an Astell & Kern SR25 and replace some Sennheiser Momentums. The difference is wonderful, hearing bits I have never heard before.

These headphones are very comfortable and fit over my ears very well. The build is good and the sound is rich and well balanced. The only quibble I have is that the cable is short and I have to use an extension when using the headphones.

As I wasn't able to demo in-store, I was promised a home trial which was perfect. I will definitely be keeping them because the sound quality is superb - it is incredibly detailed without being aggressive or tiring.
