Sound is good but NOT durable

Nice sound but not durable. I get Panasonics for under $10 elsewhere that are way more durable and sound pretty good

NOT durable. The cords pull out at junction and also at the earbud. The drivers are durable, the cords are not. We are talking you are lucky to get months of wear

Poor reliability

Don't waste your money on cheap Sony headphones.

Good sound quality

Don't last. Bought two units. Both sat in packaging for a year and both failed with a weeks usage after opening and using. POOR QUALITY! Also, Sony claims the warranty is only 90 days -- not 1 year as Newegg says

gypped

Can drown out unwanted noises

expect it to break down right after it passes the warranty date. Customer service reps do not help at all

Good Sound for good price

Other then the poor cable management and design of the wires i really like the sound and look of these headphones. I still feel i got a good bang for my buck... unless of course they break in the near future.

These are the best sounding headphones i've ever owned. I was using the earbuds that came with my ipod for quite sometime, and switching over to these was a great sounding experience. They cut out alot of the noise around you, so you can wear them on...

I took off an egg because of the design of the wiring. The right strand is longer then the left, and it is supposed to be worn around the back of your neck, so that they hang over your chest if you take them out. This is a cool idea in principle, but...

Bad sound, bad fit.

Cheap and light

The ear-canal piece is too short to properly go into the ear canal. The sound has way too much bass, so music is not sharp and clear

Sony Premium White Headphones with Gold Plated Connector (MDR-EX56LP/Whi)

I've seen at least one comment regarding the cord lengths being 'lopsided.' This is not a design fault, it is a feature. The right earphone loops around behind your neck so you have less cord dangling in front of you. Please don't bash this product...

Excellent sound quality ; Much less than I paid at Walmart for an identical black pair ; Didn't break after a couple months of abuse like cheaper kinds do. (Most don't last long from being wrapped around my mp3 player, but these handle it and still...

None so far, though I wish I bought my other pair from Newegg in the first place to save a bit of cash

Unfortunately Not a Fan

I was impressed reading that the Frequency Response of these headphones is 6Hz-23KHz, quite a high range. Unfortunately the sound, despite messing with an equalizer failed to be full or rich, but rather sounded like small tinny speakers with little...

Useful Accessories ; Simple Instructions

Small is Still Too Big ; Tinny Sound

not bad

the fool who is talking about the lopsided cords it's meant to go behind your head. so you have it going down only on one side and the longer cord i meant to wrap around the back of the neck

Not bad head phones, sound quality is decent, not terrible for the cost

earbuds are easily lost. the cord seems kind of thin. in the long term it may give out

Immersive experience

For the sound immersion you achieve with these headphones, it's a good deal.

The frequency range is quite good. I really like the bass end. They are very good at sound isolation. I can be listening to any music, loud or soft, and not hear anything around me. It's good enough that I sometimes wonder if I am breathing weirdly or...

The volume is a bit low compared to any of my other headphones. Also, it's white. Ear wax is yellow. If you have ear drainage issues (I know, ewwwww, but it can be an issue) you may not appreciate the color. I like it, but I don't have ear issues ; The...

STAY AWAY FROM SONY!

None

Please stay far away from these headphones. I've had bad luck with many Sony products for a while now and let's face it their company has been doing terribly with a line of products have have flopped the major being the PS3 ; I figured, hey why not?...
