Crucial M550 review

 

A very fast SSD at a great price, but the Samsung 840 Evo is just a bit faster

The M550 isn’t the cheapest SSD, but is still good value and has excellent file transfer performance. It wins a Best Buy award. For all our current best Buy SSDs see our regularly updated Best SSD article.

9 months and out

 

No complaints until it died

Died after 9 months of limited use. Disappointing. I have about 5 computers in family and haven't had a HD fail in over 4 years
