PDFs are designed to be displayed and printed on the page size the particular document was designed for - in many cases Letter (8.5x11), Legal or A4. A 5 inch screen is a lot smaller than a piece of letter paper ~25% of the size, because of this...

If you're fairly knowledgeable about the different formats, DRM and already have a program like Calibre to organize your books, it should work without a problem for you. You won't have a simple web browser or an mp3 player but a device that simply does...
