Sturdy and all ready dependable

 

It's done its job well, and with a three-year warranty, you can't go wrong with this one. Good for a spare or backup if you REALLY want something better.

For the cheapest CRT monitor, this one works out just fine, not to mention it's about the same resolution and size than a more expensive screen I saw. While it may be large, it has fine resolution, works good for games, and colors are well presented....

It is quite big, and it can get somewhat warm after a while.

Not as good as the X192W

 

I bought over 100 of the X192W's for my company from NEWEGG. the X191W just does not compare.

It is a good Monitor compared to other monitors of the same specs

The X192W was way better and better price But you can now only get in the UK. Way to go Acer!! If you can find an X192W, go for it. Much better

Good for PC, bad for PS3

 

There needs to be more menu options other than their "auto" fix. You can set brightness, contrast, and all that, but I couldn't move the screen much to fix the resolution issues, or get it to "auto-fullscreen" with any given setting.

Once everything is setup properly (resolution, drivers, etc.) the display is beautiful, the monitor looks clean, and there are no issues. I wall-mounted mine with a standard 100mm X 100mm bracket, and it looked great

If you wall-mount, it will stick out from the wall quite a bit. The back of the monitor is a good 2-4 inches, and the bracket usually adds another few inches ; My major issues was trying to hook this guy up with my PS3, which is why I got it. I tried...

I bought this to upgrade from a 17" CRT monitor which weighed like 25 lbs, this thing was maybe 3-4. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Now i don't have to scoot my desk out so my monitor will fit on it. Plus i can see so much more, it's like a...

Very nice monitor, crisp and bright picture. Performs wonderfully with any game with no ghosting at all. I'd definitely recommend this monitor to anyone

They didn't make it a few inches bigger? *shrugs* nice curved edges and easy to install plug and play make it basically perfect

Great monitor for a low price!

 

The stand is somewhat cheap. There is no height adjustment and it's very hard to tilt the monitor, if you aren't careful you can pull the monitor off the base trying to tilt it.

This is an amazing monitor for a unbelievably low price. I have always liked Acer monitors and have never been disappointed with one. This monitor's picture quality is crisp and text is very clear. Dark colors don't run together like on some cheaper lcd's

The internal power supply emits a slight humming noise when the brightness is lowered, this isn't a big deal but it can be annoying when using it in a quiet room with a quiet computer

Great price, great monitor

 

Had problems with getting 1440X900 resolution to run properly at first, but the problem was with my video card's driver. Updated the driver, everything looks good.

Extremely clear, bright picture. Looks great on 1440X900 resolution with DVI input. Very lightweight

Sits pretty low. Haven't tried to adjust the height but I don't think you can

Plenty bright, no dead pixels, good clarity, good adjustability
