The Apple Studio Display is an excellent MacBook Pro or Mac Studio companion, although is missing out on some high-end features.
Excellent 5K image ; Complete setup with integrated speakers ; Mics and webcam ; Sleek design
Expensive ; Lacks proper HDR support ; Not great for Windows owners
A sharp image, excellent colour reproduction and tight macOS connectivity make the Apple Studio Display monitor an excellent partner to a MacBook Pro or Mac Studio. But the lack of modern features and a very high price could make this a tough sell to...

Apple's 27-inch monitor is the perfect home office display for any Mac user and it couldn't have come soon enough
Exceptional quality ; Classy design ; Built-in speakers and camera
Height adjustment is extra ; Still far from a budget option ; Not 120Hz refresh
Far more than just a monitor, the Apple Studio Display combines a stunning 5K display with a 12MP webcam, 6-speaker surround and a Thunderbolt port to power your laptop. This is a great choice for MacBook Pro users but also the perfect pairing for a...

For Mac-centric content creators, the Studio Display is a stunning, plug-and-go 5K companion for a late-model Mac (especially the 2022 Mac Studio), but the pricing for the panel and its options is hard to swallow.

A new monitor aimed at creative professionals
Bright and vivid colors ; Great speakers ; Nice design ; Good webcam
No HDR ; Lacks ports ; Some features are Mac-exclusive ; Better value monitors out there
Recensione esperto da : Stuart Miles (pocket-lint.com)
This 5K Retina display is less expensive than the top-tier XDR panel, and therefore more affordable - but it's still pricey, so is it worth it?
Built-in 12-megapixel camera ; Six speakers for Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio support ; 96W Thunderbolt 3 port to power your MacBook
No 120Hz refresh rate support ; Would be nice to have Ethernet and USB-A ports
For Mac users this 5K display will fit right in with your other Apple products, delivering many of the features MacBook users have been enjoying for the last couple of years, and will work with a vast array of Mac products too.

The Apple Studio Display is a 27 inch monitor with a 5k resolution. It's targeted for the consumer level as Apple previously released Pro Display XDR for profess...
Excellent peak brightness and fantastic reflection handling. Wide viewing angles. Exceptional out-of-the-box accuracy. High 5k resolution delivers sharp text and images. Low input lag.
60Hz panel. Limited compatibility with Windows PCs. No HDR support. Low contrast and no local dimming. Can't remove stand to wall-mount it. Poor motion handling. No VRR support. Limited ergonomics on tilt-only version.
The Apple Studio Display is okay for mixed usage. It performs best for content creation and for office use, and you can use all of its features with a macOS device. It has exceptional out-of-the-box accuracy, and the high resolution makes it a very...

There's a lot to like about Apple's $1,599, 27-inch monitor, but it's not without its annoyances.
Excellent color accuracy and Apple-standard color profiles ; Good speaker system for a monitor
No physical controls ; No HDR ; Meh Windows compatibility ; Height adjustable stand is extra cost and neither choice allows swiveling or rotation ; Only a single input connection ; No easy-access ports

The Asus ZenScreen Smart Monitor can go from a TV to a gaming system to a work display in a matter of seconds.
Smart monitors are a relatively new product category, and if you're a big fan of streaming services and like a brand-forward content delivery system, you should check out Asus' ZenScreen Smart Monitor . Especially if you're a fan of Google TV and have...

The Apple Studio Display is designed for use with Apple's ever-growing number of Mac systems. It is a 5K monitor too. And it is very expensive. But is it any good? Let's find out… The Apple Studio Display is designed for use with Apple's ever-growing...

Apple's new Studio Display will be perfect for many, but hopeless for others, and it has a surprising shortcoming.
Great picture quality and amazing sound from the speakers. Very accomplished quality. Works seamlessly with newer Macs.
Expensive. Lacks HDR and 120 Hz ProMotion, and FaceTime camera image quality is below par. No HDMI.
Apple’s Studio Display is the natural partner for a Mac Studio. But I also used it with an older MacBook and a newer 24-inch iMac M1, and both worked flawlessly with the display. Which is a notch or two more solid and more well-made than most...
