While it's not as bright as its LED-backlit rivals, the HF257H's CCFL backlight adds a warmth to images, and with two HDMI ports and a competitive price, it's a winner.

With the HF257H, Hannspree has proved that there's still life in CCFL backlights, and although it's not up to the standards of the most expensive of new monitors, the image quality is fine for everyday use. A sensible set of inputs and a simple menu...

The monitor will not last you. Both the monitors I bought ended up with the "2 seconds to black" error after a year of ownership. I have tv's and monitors that have lasted me 10-20 years, I see no reason these expensive ones should last less than 5

this model has many known issues. i bought this new and used it for about a month the back light went out. you can see the screen is still on if you use a flashlight. searched this issue and found that this occurs more often than not. dedicated techs...

Why are people giving lower ratings to a USED monitor for missing cables, dead pixels, etc... it's USED. You pay a cheaper price and "hope" that it's perfect. If it's not, that's what you get for taking a shot with a USED product at a reduced price

Cheap and is big excellent for office monitors. Bought mine off the refund list got 2 for the office. One is not as bright as a new new monitor. And the other none has a dead pixel. But her the were on refurb

This thing looks nice. It was an upgrade from an old 22in samsung 1680x1050. Noticable size difference and depth of picture. Games look nice, may have to do some calibration for color and or picture size. Payed less for this then i did my old Samsung...

Only thing that bothers me is when i try and play knights of the old republic in 1080P the screed goes out of wack. Could be the VGA connection, or the video card (GTX465) with latest drivers, Mass Effect3,Alan Wake,The DarknessII, all work fine. Fun...

I don't use the built in speakers but if you do or will, the sound quality is very low
