ViewSonic has been a reliable monitor produces since CRTs. This flatscreen is no exception. Mounted perfectly on the VESA stand. DisplayPort connection works great.

Name-brand and LED. Two things:1. Controls should be on the FRONT.2. Edge glow in dark rooms.

I bought this brand cause that is the brand I have had at work for many years and I have enjoyed the bright clear picture and speed at which it operates. No dark area at the top like my last monitor, WHOOPEE!

This is not a 'best value' or 'you pay what you get for' kind of monitor. It simple functions higher than the cost and outshines the other options on the table for it. I'm sure that name-brand monitors could be better in every other way. Value is not...
