Kensington Ci70LE Wireless Optical Mouse (Rouge) review: Kensington Ci70LE Wireless Optical Mouse (Rouge)

Kensington Ci70LE Wireless Optical Mouse (Rouge)

Pop-out USB receiver can be stored in the mouse.

No built-in USB cable; not quite small enough for a travel mouse, not big enough for a desktop mouse.

The Ci70 LE Wireless Optical Mouse straddles the line between a laptop mouse and a traditional desktop mouse, but this hybrid represents a compromise on both fronts.

Kensington Ci70 Photo Sync Desktop Set

Kensignton's Ci70 Photo Sync Desktop Set is a keyboard and wireless mouse combo that the company touts as a solution for multimedia users because the keyboard includes a built-in mini USB cable along with an extra USB 2.0 port.

Optical Mouse from Kensington (twice) : Kensington Ci20 and Ci65m Optical Mice

Here I am looking at not one but two mice from Kensington, the first a traditional desktop rodent. The second a smaller wireless offering primarily for notebook users. Both rodents are optical so no balls to pick up the dust and grit.

Ci20 Optical mouse My first joy on receiving this rodent was that it was in a box so no need for the industrial scissors. It is jet black with two grey stripes down the sides. 12cm long 6cm wide and a maximum of 3.5cm tall. On first glance it is a...

Kensington Ci20 K72257US Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical Mouse

I like the rubber grip and feel of the mouse. It isn't as "big" as I was thinking it would be from the other reviews

I would have given this mouse 5 eggs but I just found out Kensington isn't planning on supporting Windows 7 for the 5 button programming ; From their FAQ: "Is Kensington planning to release MouseWorks software compatible with Microsoft Vista or Windows...

meh..

I'm surprised these are still being sold. I purchased this 8/21/2007 for $23. I'm a serious FPS gamer and would recommend spending the extra money to get a better mouse.

Price

Didn't last a year and wasn't worth returning. Finish wears fast. Not as comfortable as other mice

Still happy after three years

I don't know of a mouse I like better. The cord is a bit long for my taste, as I plug my mouse in to my keyboard, so I keep it coiled in the original twist-tie.

I've had mine for three years without a problem. It's great for big hands, has a satisfying click, and it's not atrociously gaudy like some other mice

It emits a little creak when I rest my hand on it, but I hardly notice anymore. The grip is good, but the honeycomb pattern does get a little dirty

Lasted about 2 years

For the price, getting two years out of this mouse is probably good enough. I've had this same track record with other mice of similar configurations at different price points. I'm ready to try another manufacturer and see where that gets me.

Comfortable mouse, 5 buttons, good price

The mousewheel started to slip past its stop points and failing to scroll as I'm approaching the two year ownership point. It's now nearly impossible to scroll with the mouse, which makes it very frustrating to use. The honeycomb patterned rubber on...

Great mouse

I've been using this mouse for over three plus years every day. It has never failed me so far. I love its contour. It is perfect for my hand. The rubber grip is just simply wonderful. I use it for design work and I love it

None in the past 3+ years

nice mice

I'm using it every day as my regular mouse. I have a multi-button gaming mouse and I have another travel mouse with 5 buttons that I like (with another computer) and I hardly miss the extra buttons.

it is a good mouse. flat shape slides easily into pockets of carrying cases. smooth movement; buttons and wheel work well

none
