I was in need of a scanner that would scan longer papers and articles. I bought this and am happy with my purchase-It does what I needed it to do.

GT1500 - Workforce Scanner Works pretty good, especially for small price.

The Epson GT-1500 is inexpensive, fast, and easy to operate. The only negative is the automatic document feeder does not work consistently. When it does not catch the first page, you have to open and close that section of the scanner before it will work.

I had a problem with my Epson Workforce GT-1500 Document Scanner. I got in contact with support and before you knew it, they had a new scanner delivered to my home. I am very satisfied with Epson, and that is why I only have Epson products in my office.

I had to purchase this model when I upgraded to Windows 8 as my previous Epson scanner did not have the drivers. The first one was replaced by Epson - no problems with replacing it - due to lines on all materials scanned. The replacement worked fine...

The GT-1500 works well but is no longer state of the art. It is easy to figure out its basic function of scanning documents to a computer folder, but anything more complex is not intuitive, and you would have to pull out the manual or find instructions...

The scanner was way too slow for our application. We only got about one document scanned per minute off the machine which was way too slow for our needs. I think it was because of the character recognition in Microsoft Word. If this was not needed it...

Hardware is a good value; however the software is awkward and appears to be out of date...I cannot quickly scan and tag and file documents....makes scanner useless..
