New Egg's price was less than what lower quality speakers would cost and free shipping was a huge plus. No issues with shipping even though they were close to 70 pounds - each. I was also thinking of the A9's but chose these because of the lower power...

Excellent sound - which is what it is all about. Front is rather narrow so they don't visually take over the room. Very solid. They also come with carpet spikes. I like having the bi-amp option

They are heavy - but that is actually a good thing

Cannot say enough good things about newegg, ordered on Sunday night, arrives on Tuesday afternoon with everything in great condition. Free shipping and promo card on each is a deal.

Great sounding speakers, got them to pair with RTi10's and they blend very nicely. very warm and full sound, but also crisp highs. I have them bi-amped and they sound great!
