These are great sounding bookshelf speakers for the price. I've ended up buying three pairs while they were priced below $200. Better midrange then most speakers in this price range, good bass response for this size speaker, but perhaps a tad bright on...

Binding posts, like all the RTI speakers I've owned, tend to have larger holes for banana plugs. Some banana plugs aren't wide enough to make good contact, leading to speakers cutting in and out. I had to buy several different types until I found ones...
